About Services and Fees

Will fees ever change?

The fees charged for various services may change over time due to therapist growth in clinical experience/expertise, increased operating costs/inflation, etc.

Current clients will be given 2 months notice of any changes in fees to allow for thoughtful decisions concerning their finances and exploring the possibility of a need for a referral to another provider that better fits their financial needs.

Billing and payment policies:

Before starting your first session your credit card information will be registered, kept on file, and billed after session is complete.

In the event your payment method is void or declined, a new payment method must be added and any outstanding balances paid to book further sessions/services. If you are unable to schedule a session due to the above circumstances and normally book a specific date/time slot, that slot will be protected for up to a week before being offered to other clients.

Cancelation policy:

If you need to cancel an appointment you previously booked please leave cancelation notice 24 hours in advance from the date and time of the appointment. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice will be considered a no-show. Arriving more than 20 minutes late to a scheduled appointment will be considered a no-show. The fee for a no-show is the amount of a standard 50-minute session and will be billed to the card on file.

Also, I get emergencies happen! The fee for your first no-show will be waived. You will be reminded at your next appointment that subsequent no-shows will be charged a fee. Your first free no-show will reset each calendar year.

Are you in network?

I accept cash payments. However, after paying for a session I can generate a superbill so you can attempt to get reimbursed by your insurance for out of network care. By agreeing to this you understand certain protected health information, including relevant diagnoses, may be shared with your insurance company for reimbursement purposes. It is the patient’s responsibility to understand their out of network benefits, deductibles, and allowed amounts which may determine if their insurance accepts superbills or if they will get reimbursed for them.
